The NITECORE MH27UV tactical flashlight is designed for law enforcement and EDC that features a large variety of modes and uses and is compatible with a large variety of batteries. It can be used with one 18650 battery that is Micro USB rechargeable but is also compatible with two CR123 or RCR123 batteries. It features a rear tailcap switch that offers momentary or constant light and remembers the last setting you left it on. The rubber side switch allows you to cycle through the multiple brightness settings and modes, so you can always have it set you your preferred setting. Additionally, the side switch features an LED that indicates the remaining battery. This light also features red, blue, and UV LED lights that can be used in a variety of ways. Red is great for when you need light but don’t want to ruin your natural night vision. Blue is useful for blood tracking and the ultraviolet light is useful for petrol inspection, forensic science, document and currency detection and much more. The highest brightness outputs 1000 Lumens with 53500 Candela at 462 meters. This is achievable due to the CREE XP-L HI V3 LED and a highly efficient reflector and lens with a total lifespan of 50,000 hours. At the lowest setting, the MH23 flashlight can last up to 708 continuous hours and the integrated thermoelectric separation technology efficiently dissipates heat for a long high performance lifespan.
