With Dual Fuel Technology, the XT DF runs with either a rechargeable 18650 battery, which is included by the way, or a pair of CR123A single use cells which are sold separately. Simply put, you’ll never be without a power source. But it gets even better. The 18650 batter charges inside the Triad DF using the supplied cord and adapters, but can also be charged using any micro USB phone or electronics charging cord. This means, there will never be a need for a separate battery charger.
The XT DF provides the maximum brightness (in a primary setting) of 600 lumens, and a secondary light level that’s user-programmed secondary node that only takes seconds to switch to by a simple twist of the bezel.
Machined from 6061 T6 grade aluminum and anodized with a proprietary type III hardcoat black matte finish and wrapped in ASP’s exclusive all-weather foamed vinyl grip, this duty light can take on harsh conditions and excessive punishment and still keep throwing the lumens out.
The XT DF duty light comes a high-performance ASP 18650 rechargeable battery, battery storage case, retractable charging cord, wall adaptor, car adaptor, adjustable/removable pocket clip and a zippered ballistic travel case.

Note: For lights with a screw connecting the clip to the ring around the flashlight use a 1/16 hex key (most ASP baton scabbards and Tactical Light Cases include a hex key stowed behind the belt clip) to back out the screw, and then remove the clip and ring.
